Last weekend Michael and I had dinner with some terrific friends and one thing is clear – I need to step up my candle game before we host our next potluck. I have my eye on these aqua and burnt orange taper holders from CB2. I like the idea of mix-matching the colors on the table.
This Ikat apron is so cute, I can wear it even after guests arrive.
I like putting a fresh mix together with a little help from Kitchen Turntable.
These mugs from Crate & Barrel are beautiful and perfect for a cold brew or a root beer float.
This Elderflower tonic water from Fever Tree is my new favorite mixer for vodka drinks. I find it at Whole Foods.
I’m definitely going to try this seasonal approach to cheese plating.
I really like using simple dish towels as napkins. They’re durable and super-cute on the dinner table.
I’m a calamity when it comes to arranging flowers, so I really like using succulents. They’re beautiful on their own and it’s nice to send your friends home with one at the end of the evening.
For dessert, I love these cake toppers from Lisa Leonard.
